DUES STRUCTURE

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2012, LOCAL 48’S DUES STRUCTURE

 

WORKING DUES

  • Working dues will be based on percentage of gross wages
  • Working dues will be deducted from employee paychecks
  • Inside, Sound & Communication, Residential, Material Handler/Supp.Tech:              2.25% of gross (Apprentices 1.00% of gross)
  • All other Agreements: 1.25% of gross

 

MRP

  • Market Recovery Program assessments for Inside & Residential will decrease from 3.50% to 2.00%
  • Inside & Residential First & Second year apprentices will continue to be exempt
  • Sound & Communication will decrease from 1.00% to 0.00%

 

BASIC DUES

  • Local Dues:  Increase from $1.70 to $10 per month
  • International Office Dues:
    • A Members Increased from $27.00 to $29.00 per month
    • B Members Increased from $13.00 to $15.00 per month

 

REMINDER:  It will remain the member’s responsibility to pay their monthly Basic Dues either by paying in person, mail, on our website www.ibew48.com or with your credit union deduction.  503.256.4848, ext 222
