2025 Local 48 Holiday Events and Activities
Be sure to attend or participate in our upcoming Local 48 holiday events and activities! Here is a summary of what’s happening over the next month+.
HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE 50/50 RAFFLE
These raffle tickets are available to purchase through Member Services and Stewards, as well as at the poker tournament and holiday banquet. Half the funds will go to the winner, and the other half will go to the holiday toy drive. The winning number will be drawn at the holiday banquet. You do not need to be present to win.
POKER TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER
We’ll be hosting a poker tournament and holiday toy drive fundraiser at the Hall on Saturday, November 8th. The buy-in is $10, and all proceeds go toward the toy drive. Space is limited, so sign up today at the registration link below!

HOLIDAY BANQUET
The annual Local 48 Holiday Banquet and Service Awards Presentation will take place from 5pm to 10pm on Friday, December 5th, at the Hyatt Regency Portland. Come celebrate the holidays and enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment with your IBEW Local 48 Brothers and Sisters! PICTURES WITH SANTA
Bring a new toy to the Hall between 11am and 2pm on Saturday, December 6th, and get a picture with Santa! All members and their families are welcome to this first-time Local 48 event. We’ll also have cookies, hot cocoa, holiday music, and more!
