FIRE-IMPACTED & LCSA EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER

-

EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER: Labor’s Community Service Agency helps working people and families in Oregon and SW Washington find support and resources during times of crisis. We need your help more than ever to maintain our safety net programs and provide our services through the current devastating fires, COVID-19’s impact, and food and presents for the upcoming holidays. Staying home does not mean that we are without community and your donations will go a long way in reminding those hardest hit that Oregon’s Unions are standing with them.

"The need is massive in Oregon and SW Washington, but Labor’s Community Service Agency will continue to serve.
LCSA has assisted thousands of union families in the past six months through both the Helping Hands temporary hardship and Dislocated

Worker programs and now we will stand beside union families during the devastating fires across our state. LCSA’s
dedicated staff is trained, prepped & here to help your members. But we simply cannot do it without donations from our unions."

Business Manager's Report from Garth Bachman

Brothers and Sisters I would like to express my sympathies for our members affected by the fires. Times like these are when Union Solidarity matters most. If you are able, please Donate to the Labor Community Service Agency to assist union members in need now.

If you are in need of this assistance Local 48 is coordinating this through our Executive Assistant Lillian Killen 503-889-3667 or Lillian@ibew48.com.

If you are in need of non-monetary assistance – or able to provide relief efforts - please reach out to myself or the Staff of Local 48, and we can coordinate those efforts.
