The 2021 Golf Tournament Was an Incredible Success, Thank You!

On a Sunday August 22nd, we hosted 196 golfers, 49 teams, and 35 tournament sponsors at Glendoveer Golf & Tennis club for the annual IBEW 48 Golf Tournament. All in all we raised a record $20,000 for our Sick Fund! Co-Organized by Tracey Powers and Scott Zadow, this tournament continues to grow and bring us together as Brothers and Sisters to support each other and have some fun! “It was such a great environment with lots of happy golfers.” said Tracey, with Scott adding “It’s been a long standing tradition, I even played in the tournament with my father when I was a kid.”
On behalf of the Golf Committee and Leadership of the IBEW Local 48, we want to extend a heart-felt thank you to everyone who made this year's golf tournament so successful. It was the vision of the Committee together with our members and partners throughout the community providing a fun day for all, and most importantly making it a successful fund raising event! The generosity and support is what our IBEW values are all about and it was great to see them in action. Working together we are making a difference in the lives of our Brothers and Sisters in need!
