Inside Negotiations Update: 10/30/2026

The Inside Negotiations Committees met on Thursday October 29, 2026, to continue trying to come to an agreement for the Inside contract. Unfortunately, we were unable to come to an agreement. At our previous meeting we asked for NECA’s last, best, and final offer. They did not provide that, so as of right now the last NECA proposal that was posted is their last, best, and final offer. There were some ideas floated, but they were not good enough to bring to all of you for a vote.

The next step is to have a CIR interim meeting which is where the bargaining parties, the IBEW International Representative, and the NECA regional director meet to try to come to an agreement. If we fail to come to an agreement there, we will go to CIR the 3rd week of November. We still have Modified CIR on the table and that is our ask in our CIR brief that is being submitted today.
