Residential Negotiations Update from October Sessions
Residential Contract Negotiations Update from October 13 & 15 Sessions
We had sessions six and seven on October 13th and 15th. There was more discussion regarding gaining market share and what we could do to get there. We also managed to agree on multiple bits of Category I language, so there has been some movement towards an agreement. However, the Negotiation Committee still has economics and other outstanding issues to work on that are important to the unit. Some items were countered, but some still have not been addressed in writing and need further discussion.
There is one more scheduled meeting for November 5th, but in the last session both sides agreed to send counters or proposed tentative agreements electronically to keep things moving.
We will be posting all items passed at the table from both parties on the Dispatch and Dues page for Local 48. To view these and the other most recent negotiations documents, log into https://48dispatch.com/ and click on the Documents tab.
If there are any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
