John Bell

John Arthur Bell, 53 yrs old, of Happy Valley passed away peacefully in his home on May 30th, 2013 after a nine month battle with cancer. John was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Washington High School in 1978. He has been a member of IBEW local 48 for more than 30 years.

John was one of three children born to Lois and Steve Bell and was the beloved husband of Angela Martin for over 28 years. John will forever be remembered by his devoted brothers Allen (Wendy) Bell, Pat (Melinda) Bell, his beloved children John Jr. and Jessica Bell, along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know him. John loved fishing, traveling, laughing, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

John touched the lives of many people with his smile, outgoing personality and generosity. He maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 2pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, Oregon 97086. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Pancreatic Action Network at http://www.pancan.org
