Obituary for Norman "Pat" Walter Cole

Initiated into IBEW December 1955 and retired March 1989.

Norman "Pat" Walter Cole was born on March 17, 1927 in Lostine, Oregon to Richard & Grace Bobb Cole.
He died at his home in St. Helens, OR. on January 6, 2013 at the age of 85.

Norman graduate from Haines High School in 1945, attended Faragut College in Idaho for 2 years and was an apprentice electrician for 4 years. He served in the US Air Force and discharged in 1946 as a corporal.

He married Shirley Winks in Walla Walla, Washington on May 15, 1964, they moved to Columbia City in March of 1966.

Norman was employed at Midway Electric from 1966 to 1974 and Electrical construction from 1974 to 1989 when he retired.

He was a Christian and a member of the Elks Lodge for 30 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, Bowling and Golfing.

Survivors include: Wife: Shirley of St. Helens; Children: Christopher Cole of Westport, OR.; Michael Cole of Longview, WA.; Step-Daughter: Leola Stanwood of Toledo, OR.; Siblings: Bertha Jones, Lennis Brown, Jackie Piatte; Numerous Grandchildren.

Private Family Graveside & interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery-St. Helens.
