Patrick Stewart Endicott

Patrick Stewart Endicott, 69, died at his home in Gold Beach, Ore., from complication of cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stewart and Mary Endicott.

A graveside service was held Monday at Sunset Memorial Park in the Endicott pioneer plot, Coos Bay, Ore.

He married Beverly Ann Knight of North Bend, Ore., in November 1963. He is survived by his wife; a son, Eric Endicott of Portland; a daughter, Stephanie Endicott-Denis of Camas, Wash.; and a sister, Mary Christine Endicott of Port Angles, Wash.

He joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in 1963 and worked as a journeyman inside wireman all around the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and California. He and his wife owned and operated Endicott Gardens Bed and Breakfast in Gold Beach after the death of his parents. When he retired in 2007 he was able to pursue his love of gardening full time. He especially loved cultivating his roses and orchids. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and especially clam digging with his friend Brian.

He touched everyone he met with his warmth, great stories and insight on most any subject. He will be deeply missed by friends all over the world.

A memorial service will be held at later date in the Vancouver/Portland area.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Francis Cheney Family Place, 2882 State Street, Medford, OR 97504.

Arrangements are by Amling-Schroeder Funeral Service, Bandon, Ore.
