Volunteers Needed

iTrades Summit - Saturday, November 2, 2019

 Greeters - You will help direct students and families as they park, come in and find their way to the opening in the Auditorium at 9 am. 

 

Registration Table Support -  We will have sign up areas for HS students, MS students, and parents who will stay for part or the full day.  Everyone needs to sign in, fill out a name badge & fill out a Permission Form if students under 18 years old are there for the day without parents.

 

Team Leads - You will be at a student table waiting for students as they self-select where to sit (HS or MS area).  You will be assigned to a small group of students (between 6-8 in each group) who you will stay with and guide throughout the day.  Our goal is for all students to engage, ask questions and feel comfortable learning and challenging themselves.  

 

Room Monitors - We’ll ask several volunteers to support the presenters, document some of the workshop activities, engage with students and pass out tickets for the raffle prize drawing at the end of the day. 

 

Please arrive at 8 am on Saturday so you are able to participate in a brief Volunteer Orientation in the Auditorium.  The main purpose of the day is for students to have fun, learn more about the Skilled Trades Industry, engage with inspirational professionals such as yourself, participate in hands-on activities, and have their interest sparked to learn more about your careers that could be theirs in the future.
