Wesley C. Wampler

Wesley became a Local 48 member in February 1952.  He retired in March 1989. 


Wesley C. Wampler, of Woodland, WA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 21, 2015. He was born in Everson, WA on February 1, 1926 and graduated from high school in 1943 in Blaine, WA.
Wes married Muriel, the love of his life in 1947. They have four children; Linda (Harold), Bruce (Jane), Brad (Brenda), Brian (Debbie) and were blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom all live in Oregon.
He was a licensed Electrician by trade, and a 63 year union member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a life member of the Elks Lodge #1664, Toledo, OR.
His hobbies were golfing, fishing, hunting and reading.
The family will have an open house in Woodland on Sat., June 13, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to the Hospice Program, 2701 NW Vaughn St., Ste. 140, Portland, OR 97210.
