Support Needed for Union Brother Tim Do and His Family
Local 48 member Tim Do and his wife Alexis recently welcomed the birth of their first child. Unfortunately, they also discovered that Alexis has a rare and aggressive form of liver cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma.
Tim just used his Paid Leave Oregon benefit for the birth of his child. He is also low on healthcare hours, because for the last year he has been taking time off to help with his mother, who also has cancer.
If any members are willing to donate healthcare hours to Tim, that would be greatly appreciated. You can start the process for that by completing and turning in the Reserve Account Sharing Donor Form in the Employee Forms section at the link below. Tim would also need to fill out the Reserve Account Recipient Form.

In addition, Tim’s wife’s sister started a GoFundMe campaign. We encourage members to donate at the link below. We are also doing a hat pass at the Hall and will be asking for donations at the General Membership meeting next week.
