Enhanced Edison 2011 Structure for Early Retirement
In May of 2025, enhancements were made to the Edison 2011 structure for early retirement:
Eligibility requirements for enhanced early retirement benefits
1. 25 or more years of “supportive service”
2. 10 years or 120 months of “supportive service” in 15 plan years preceding unreduced retirement
3. Meets a recency test
- 1970 recency test is generally 5+ consecutive years of at least 300 Covered Hours at retirement
Enhanced reduction factors if requirements are met
0.3% per month between 60-62 and 0.6% reduction per month prior to 60
