Due to the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19 Local 48 will be closing its business office effective Monday, March 23, 2020. Local 48 staff will still be dispatching members as outlined in the Emergency Amendment to the Hiring Hall Rules. If you feel that you need in person assistance, please call 503-256-4848.  Basic dues may be paid by phone, online or mail. The Local’s staff will continue to serve our membership via phone and e-mail during this difficult time. You can find all staff phone numbers and e-mails under the Leadership Tab of this website. 

2020 Electrician Wage Information

2020 Commercial Industrial Journey-Level Electrician Wage Package

Gross Wages: $47.85 per hour

Fringe Benefits (Paid by Employer): $24.91

One Time Initiation Fee: $104.00

Total Dues: $2.25 per hour

Total Commercial Journey-Level Electrician Wage Package: $70.51 per hour

Fringe benefits include payments by employer into Harrison Electrical Worker's Trust for full-family health insurance plus Flex Benefits Plan. They also include employer payments into the Edison, NEBF, and IBEW District 9 Pension Plans.

2020 Material Handler I Wage Package

Gross Wages: $27.27 per hour

Fringe Benefits (Paid by Employer): $16.82 per hour

One-Time Initiation Fee: $16.50 

Total Dues: $0.78 per hour

Total Wage Package: $44.06 per hour

Fringe benefits include payments by employer into Harrison Electrical Worker's Trust for full-family health insurance plus Flex Benefits Plan. They also include employer payments into the Edison, NEBF, and IBEW District 9 Pension Plans.

2020 Material Handler II, III, IV, V Wage Package

Gross Wages: $15.79 - $23.93 per hour

Fringe Benefits (Paid by Employer): $9.57 - $15.88 per hour

Total Dues: $0.46 - $0.54 per hour 

Total Wage Package: $25.36 - $39.81 per hour

2020 Sound & Communication LEA Wage Package

Gross Wages: $38.87 per hour

Total Dues: $1.03 per hour

Total Wage Package: $58.64 per hour
